It may seem excessive to some, but as a photographer, I’ve learned that there is no situation in which I don’t want to have a camera nearby, and as a freelance designer, I am always working.
Just thought I would share a bit of what I carry on an everyday basis in my Levis Commuter Backpack
First up is my favorite camera ever, the Fuji X-Pro 1 with the 35mm f/1.4 attached 85% of the time and a 14mm f/2.8 on standby for landscape shots. Inside is a 32gb Eyefi card for quick transferring & editing on the fly.
Next up is my trusty iPhone 6 Plus for amazing mobile photography, complete with Olloclip lenses and Joby GripTight tripod mount.
I carry a Manfrotto Pixi mini tripod for long exposure shots or the occasional time lapse.
Depending on where I am going I will also bring along my MacBook Pro and small Wacom Intuos Pen & Touch for editing on the go.
For reading and sketching I also bring an iPad mini and the essential Pencil by @fiftythree.
And last but not least is my gateway to the world, my passport, because you never know when you might need to fly across an ocean, or take a lunch break to go to Taco Bell in Canada. (THEY HAVE FRENCH FRY SUPREMES, C’MON!)
Not pictured, but always on my wrist is one of my MANY Nixon watches.
I’m a nerd, so I’d love to know your thoughts and also what might be in YOUR bag as a creative, so hit that up in the comments!
