I felt time drift past slowly as the light left the valley. Caught up in a quiet and pensive moment amidst the towering giants of Zion National Park. As daylight turned into darkness the stars began to reveal themselves

Tiny burning fires, millions of miles away… and yet still bright enough to stand out against a valley filled with the artificial light of passers-by.

Scenes like this help me to understand our true place in the universe. Though small and insignificant we sometimes seem, we must always seek to earn our place amongst the stars.
